On Saturday, March 9, the Tustin Host Lions, Santa Ana Host Lions and OC Central Lions will come together to sponsor a free vision screening and recycled glasses event for the community. Open to all ages at Columbus Tustin Middle School from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will give attendees the chance to have a vision screening to assess for ocular health concerns and provide a useable pair of recycled eyeglasses. Preschool through 12th-grade students who are new to TUSD for the 2024-25 school year can get a head start on the enrollment process. Begin the enrollment process through the TUSD Aeries Online Enrollment Portal.

Children who will turn five on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the upcoming 2024-25 school year. Children who will be five between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025 are eligible to enter transitional kindergarten.

The 2024 TPSF Dino Dash logo contest is now open to all TUSD middle and high school students through February 28.The Tustin Public Schools Foundation Dino Dash logo can be found on more than 7,000 tee shirts, race bibs and medals. It is also highlighted on promotions at all TUSD schools and throughout the community for months leading up to the November 3, 2024 event. In addition to the honor of having the winning design showcased to the community, the finalist will receive $500 and an additional $500 will be donated to their school's art program.
