AirTime December 2019
Happy New Year!
And what a year it's been.
It started with the push to complete our capital campaign and it's ending with the installation of the equipment we bought with the proceeds. In between, we welcomed a slew of new volunteers and bid farewell to a few others. We hosted a birthday party for the ages that included an auction with some world-class pieces. We produced the 9th annual Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon and and built another amazing float for the Carnival parade. Through it all, we created truly unique radio shows that entertained, informed and represented our community. As in each of our previous 37 years on the air, we did it all for you.
Here's to the year that was and the one that's yet to come.
Thanks for coming along for the ride with us.
Onward and Upward

The way things used to be
With the year coming to a close, the days are getting longer and thoughts of renewal dance in our heads. It's an auspicious time to make great strides on our studio reconstruction project. The old studio went offline on November 16 and we moved to the temporary setup which will serve us until the new studio is ready. New flooring has been installed, and wires have been pulled. The furniture has been delivered and assembled. Much of the broadcast equipment has been installed. We're anxiously anticipating the delivery of the last few things we need to finish the job.

With much still to do, it's hard to say exactly when the project might be complete. There will be a learning and training process once the engineer has done his work. We're in good shape to have an open house in the spring to celebrate our collective achievement and show off the new gear.

Stay tuned.
