You may have heard about Giving Tuesday, a global day of fundraising that happens each year. As a reminder, you raised more than $8,000 for ChildSavers this past Giving Tuesday in December!
The coronavirus pandemic has brought on a second day of giving, called
Giving Tuesday Now on May 5, 2020. Will you
mark your calendars, transform your social media profiles, and donate on May 5 to help us reach our $10,000 goal?

Over the past year, our friends from the
Church Hill
Rotary,
Western Henrico
Rotary, and
West Richmond Rotary Clubs
donated their time, talent, and resources to transform multiple rooms in our clinic. In addition to refurbishing four play therapy rooms, members of the clubs also purchased and installed new shelves to help organize supplies for child care providers.
While a majority of our therapy is taking place virtually, our doors are still open for children in need of in-person therapy. We're grateful for the teamwork of multiple local Rotary Clubs, who provided fresh spaces for our clients to heal, grow, and play.
“Childsavers provides a vital service within our community, supporting children who have experienced a sudden or unexpected traumatic event. We strongly believe in providing the best possible opportunity for kids so that they can achieve their potential both in school and in life. That is why Church Hill Rotary, Western Henrico Rotary and West Richmond Rotary Clubs came together and provided a grant to ChildSavers to upgrade rooms used for the therapy sessions. We hope that these upgrades will help the amazing staff to continue the great work they do with the children in our community.”
- Daniel Meehan, President, Church Hill Rotary Club
