A message from your District Administrator

Dear School District of Wisconsin Dells Community Members,

As we return from the Thanksgiving break and enter the month of December, it will certainly be a busy time with the beginning of the winter sports season. There are 15 total school days before the winter recess, and I wish to remind everyone on the virtues of excellent daily attendance habits. Our principals have set attendance goals, as when our students exhibit good attendance patterns students typically perform better academically than those who do not exhibit regular attendance. Keep up the good work!

On Monday, December 5, 2022 the board of education will take a few moments to recognize the WDHS soccer team for their first-ever appearance at the WIAA State Tournament. This will officially close out their season, and we wish to recognize the coaches and the student-athletes for all of their accomplishments as well as the excitement they have brought to our community this past fall season. This will take place in the WDHS library at approximately 7:30 p.m.

School and district report cards released

Every publicly funded school and district in Wisconsin receives a report card annually from the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Hands-on projects in CTE courses at WDHS keeping students busy

Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. In total, about 12.5 million high school and college students are enrolled in CTE across the nation.

Our Family and Consumer Science Department offers courses in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Fashion. Several of the class offerings are Dual Enrollment with Madison College or Fox Valley Technical School, allowing students to earn college credits while in Grades 9-12 at WDHS. ...READ MORE
