"Mimi the little silvery Sardine has been my artistic muse for almost 25 years now.  When her youngest little silvery Sardine minnow left for Coral Reef College, Mimi's passion for Mimi Home bubbled to the surface with great force.

There was a time for Mimi and I to make children's bibs, aprons, lunchbugs, and spillmats, and now it is time for us to make the best tablecloths, placemats, runners and bags of Swedish designs and fabrics, and made in the USA.

But that is not enough for Mimi, the little silvery Sardine: She and I will also organize classroom activities in the spirit of joyful gatherings around the table.  Her textile arts classroom in our Corte Madera store, as well as gatherings and field trips focused on local creativity and sustainable living, will promote creative expression and kinship in our communities.  It's going to be very exciting!
