So far on our journey of prayer, we have looked at three types of prayers: Welcoming Prayer, the Conscious Examen, and Centering Prayer. In this blog, I want to explore a fourth kind of prayer, namely "Praying with Our Imagination." 

    To understand what it means to pray with our imagination, I need to set up a framework that puts our imagination in context.  

Normally, we think of imagination as fantasy, as something that is not real. But is that true or does the human imagination help us understand more clearly another aspect of reality?  (Click here to continue)
