The Gordie Center just hosted our APPLE Training Institute for NCAA Division II schools in Dallas, Texas (Gordie's hometown). Over 200 student-athletes and administrators spent an inspiring 3 days learning from our faculty and presenters. Each school team created their own action plan to reduce alcohol misuse on their campus. Gordie's mother and stepfather, Leslie and Michael Lanahan, addressed the entire conference and also spoke with the 50 participants who attended the HAZE breakout session. Their presence truly enhanced the experience for all of our APPLE participants, and we are tremendously grateful for their time and support!
