Dear Families,

We are trying something new this year.

Please check your child’s backpack this week for a letter from the Head of School with an updated October calendar on the back.

If you have more than one child at Gordon, it went home with your youngest child.

If your child has two households, they went home with two letters.

Context:

Families all got a twelve-month calendar in August.

Gordon updates that calendar month-by-month with changes and additions, and prints that up with a letter from the Head of School or announcements on the other side.

Historically, these have been mailed home.

Postage costs have risen dramatically in recent years, so we are trying this alternate distribution system.

Thanks to our teachers for taking on the additional administrative work, and thanks to our young couriers for their role in making this happen.
