Alumni Honors Award

The Nathaniel Tuckerman True Award - This award is presented to a non-alum in recognition of their distinguished contributions to the local or global community through professional, civic, or philanthropic activities. It is Gould’s most prestigious award.

The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award - This award is presented to graduates who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to Gould, and their profession or community over a long period.

The Athletic Hall of Fame - This award recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions in their area of athletics by Gould’s students and coaches. Because we have not had an induction ceremony since 2019, due to the pandemic, the committee is inducting the last three years of awardees in this year's ceremony.

Welcoming Desirée Plata '99 to Commencement

This year’s commencement ceremony speaker will be Desirée Plata ’99. She is passionate about protecting the quality of the air, water, and soil, and educating the next generation of engineers, especially with regard to the influence of their designs on the natural world. She has recently been named to our Board of Trustees and also serves on our Strategic Design Committee. Learn more about her in this GAzette article published in 2020.

Nate Gehrke '18 met up with Conrad Besner while studying abroad this spring in France. Conrad was a 10th-grade German exchange student at Gould in 2016. It is great to see how a relationship made at Gould can last.
