Fundraiser Update

In order for the NWCA to continue to host events such as the Santa Visit, Easter Egg Hunt/BBQ, Canada Day Celebration, movie nights, Halloween treats, rocket launches and supporting our local sports club we have been organizing two fundraisers a year for the past few years.

When selling tickets for a successful fundraiser we have a break-even point that we must meet to cover expenses. We have been very pleased with our past fundraisers and appreciative of your support. As our volunteers prepared for the Halloween Howler Fundraiser this year we were excited about your response, including ticket pre-sales and volunteer recruitment. Unfortunately, we have had cancellations in both ticket sales and volunteers due to personal circumstance.

Currently, the Halloween Howler Fundraiser has not quite reached our break-even point and we need to sell at least 12 more tickets to hold a successful event or be faced with the difficult decision of a cancellation. We remain optimistic at this point in time and are hoping to sell enough tickets to fulfill our commitment to this event.

If you have been “thinking about it,” now is the time to reach out to us and purchase your ticket either by replying to this email or contacting Jessica. We can’t do it without you, thank you for your continued support!
