SAVE OUR UNIONS

Dear Flight Attendants,

While recognizing and making space for any overwhelming feelings of information overload both in our personal world and at work, adjusting to changes rolled out with work and perhaps concern about what the future holds, one thing is for certain: we all can appreciate our careers and protections that our Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Company provides. Well, that protection is under attack and has been for some time, but with us now having an administration and majority in congress that is not labor-friendly and/or may not be willing to fight for us, we must build solidarity among each other, other labor unions and the community to demand protections and FIGHT BACK.

I know we are tired and overwhelmed, but now more than ever we need to organize, build solidarity, and fight back. As you know, our JCBA negotiations are currently underway and if one labor group is affected, it is only a matter of time until we are.

Please take the following two actions:

  1. A phone call to Congress
  2. A live, in-person action happening nationwide this Saturday, April 5. If you cannot attend in person, please share with friends, family, and socials to show solidarity.
  3. Lastly, please wear your AFA pins daily to work as it shows solidarity and pride. We must stick together and fight for each other, because when one union or labor group is under attack, we all are.

TO DO NOW:

Stand up against Trump’s attack on labor unions and federal workers
