Gov. Ron DeSantis awards $20 Million Dollars to the Village of Indiantown wastewater projects.
Another BIG win for Indiantown
Indiantown, FL- On Friday, February 10, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis signed Executive Order 23-06 that awarded the Village of Indiantown $20 million dollars to support the wastewater infrastructure project. Executive Order 23-06 is part of the Governor's Framework for Freedom Budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The $20 million dollars will be allocated to priority projects currently reflected in the village wastewater master plan. Indiantown acquired the utility, Indiantown Company Inc., and its facilities in 2020 and will continue to strive to make the necessary improvements to provide a safer, more reliable and environmentally sound wastewater system for residents and businesses operating within the village.
Funding payment schedule will be provided by The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Wastewater Grant Program helps fund wastewater infrastructure projects that build, improve, or expand wastewater treatment facilities to provide advanced waste treatment and projects to improve or convert traditional septic systems.

Once again, Governor DeSantis' commitment to working to achieve more for Florida's waterways is ensuring the health of our environment for years to come."

Indiantown, FL- El viernes 10 de Febrero, 2023, el Governador Ron DeSantis firmó la Orden Ejecutiva 23-06, en cual ortegó a la Village of Indiantown $20 milliones dólares para apoyar el proyecto de infraestructura de aguas residuales. La Orden Ejecutiva 23-06 es parte del Presupuesto de Libertad de Estructura del gobernador para el año fiscal 2023-2024.
Los 20 millones de dólares se asignarán a proyectos prioritarios actualmente reflejados en el plan maestro de aguas residuales de las aldeas. Indiantown adquirió la empresa de servicios públicos, Indiantown Company Inc., y sus instalaciones en 2020 y continuará esforzándose para realizar las mejores actualización para proporcionar un sistema de aguas residuales más seguro, confiable y ambientalmente racional para los residentes y las empresas que operan dentro de la aldea.
