Governor Thanks DSPs for Their Dedication
Governor Mike DeWine shared a message of gratitude and support to Ohio's direct support professionals (DSPs), who support people with developmental disabilities, during his March 17 press conference addressing coronavirus (COVID-19).


The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) understands the unique role that service providers and DSPs play to ensure the health and safety of Ohioans with disabilities and is thankful for their dedication during this state of emergency.
How DSPs Can Prepare for and Prevent COVID-19
DSPs are integral during this state of emergency as they provide direct support in the homes of people with disabilities.
