Cattlemen Banding Together for Disease Traceability
Disease traceability is on the minds of every beef producer, no matter where you are in the supply chain. Now, multiple state cattlemen’s organizations from major beef producing regions have partnered together to form U.S. CattleTrace, a disease traceability initiative.

The goal is to develop a national infrastructure for disease traceability and encourage private industry’s use of the infrastructure for individualized management practices.

Over Two Dozen Additional CWD Infected Deer Found in SE Minnesota
The CWD Surveillance Program run by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources continues to identify deer infected by Chronic Wasting Disease in southeastern Minnesota but officials say the fatal disease is still relatively rare across the state.
