The New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers (NEG/ECP) held their 41st Conference
The NEG/ECP held their 41st conference on August 27-28, in Charlottetown, PEI hosted by Prince Edward Island Premier Wade MacLauchlan and co-chaired by Vermont Governor Phil Scott. The governors and premiers discussed cross-border trade, Canada - U.S. relations, climate change and energy. Vermont will host the next NEG/ECP conference on August 12-14, 2018.
Northeast deploys relief to Hurricane damaged regions
National Guard airmen, multiple aircraft, water rescue teams, electric utilities and American Red Cross volunteers from northeast states deployed to Texas, Florida and the Carribean.
