Our  Grab Bags  are back! This year they are bigger than ever, with a 3″ thick box of goodies pulled from our online warehouse. And each  Grab Bag  is unique, with plenty of product to fill out your game shelves.

And we’ve also got a new option for the lucky crowd:  The Mystery Module ! Similar to our  Grab Bags ,  The Mystery Module  is another random selection from our warehouse shelves, but this time it is JUST from one of our printed modules. And  Mystery Modules  can be ordered by international customers, as long  The Mystery Module  is added on to an order with other items!

All the details are below, so let’s take a look!
From time to time we give fans the chance to get a GIANT box of Goodman goodness at a great price. The catch? We pick what goes in the box!

This year we are using a huge 3” deep box, and packing it full of product! We estimate each box will have $100-$150 MSRP worth of product – or more! The value’s so big, we can’t use our custom-printed boxes – we had to buy a new box size for this deal! We will stuff the box full of books and send it your way. Each grab bag may contain up to 5, 6, 7 or even 8 pounds of books! Which books will you get? We guarantee no duplicates in the box, and that all contents are in English. Otherwise, it can be anything from any of our product lines:  Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, Age of Cthulhu, Xcrawl, Judges Guild, Metamorphosis Alpha, Fifth Edition Fantasy , systems neutral, maybe even older 3E or 4E titles. Some contents may be brand new, others might be scratch-and-dent. It could be anything! Only the gods themselves know for sure!

You might even get a t-shirt! We also have some odds-and-ends leftover tees in various sizes. If you’re interested in a t-shirt, include your shirt size in the comments of your order and we’ll see if you get lucky!

  • The 2020 Goodman Games Grab Bag may only be ordered by itself, and may not be combined with other product when ordered.
  • This offer is only available to customers in the USA. Sorry international folks, but shipping this many pounds of books overseas is cost-prohibitive!
  • We guarantee no duplicate titles in each grab bag, but we cannot guarantee there will be no duplicates across multiple grab bags, even those ordered by the same person—although we will try if they are ordered at the same time.
  • Some of the items may be slightly worn. We include things like customer returns, distributor returns, items with minor bends, and so on. Everything will be usable but some may be ‘slightly loved.’

What are the Mystery Modules ? Well, we have a lot of old modules lying around, and they need a home with a friendly gamer! These include  DCC  modules,  5E , even some of our licensed lines. Some of these modules are scratch-and-dent, others are overstocked, others are shop-worn from too many trips on the convention circuit. Who knows what the gods will bring you? The more you buy, the more you save! One  Mystery Module  is $7.00, which is at least 30% off the cover price. If you buy 3  Mystery Modules , they are $6.00 each. And if you buy 6  Mystery Modules , they are only $5.00 each, or at least 50% off the cover price!

  • Mystery Modules MUST be purchased with another product. Orders without other products included will be canceled. 
  • We guarantee no duplicate titles in Mystery Module purchase, but we cannot guarantee there will be no duplicates across multiple purchases, even those ordered by the same person—although we will try if they are ordered at the same time.
  • The Mystery Module CAN be ordered by international customers, as long as you add it on to an existing international order. This is different from our grab bags, and we hope international customers appreciate the addition!

DCC Mayhem is self described as " the actual play stream dedicated to bringing the awesomeness of The Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game to the masses." They've got several videos online for you to enjoy, so go give them a look!

One of the things that makes DCC RPG unique is the character creation. The act of creating a typical person who goes through the transformative moment to become an Adventurer.

And when you build your character, you roll to determine your occupation. It serves as the basis for your character's background. But our list has only about 100 occupations to choose from—this list has a lot more.

FRENCH EDITION OF DCC RPG NOW CROWDFUNDING
Get on board for another translated edition
A couple of months back we announced an agreement for Akileos Publishing to create a French-language edition of Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game . Now those same folks have brought that translation to a crowdfunding campaign.

Running through the Game On crowdfunding engine, the French edition of DCC RPG has already met their publishing goal, but you can help them to reach their stretch goals and get on board for your own copy of the new translated edition.

ANNOUNCING THE 2020 GEN CON DCC TEAM TOURNAMENT: RETURN TO THE STARLESS SEA!
Every year at  Gen Con  we run a  DCC Team Tournament . We’ve been doing it for years, with some truly spectacular events under our belt. You can find more information about them on our  Tournaments page .

Our  Dungeon Crawl Classics  tournament at Gen Con has been running steadily since 2004 and routinely sells out within 24 hours. Winners of these tournaments receive trophies, prizes, and recognition in our published adventure modules. And in recent years, they have been  immortalized by commemorative plaques on our Gong of Doom . Now, it’s time to add to the legacy.

SUBMIT YOUR GEN CON 2020 EVENTS
Time is getting short! And we want YOU to run events as a part of the show! And the deadline for submitting events is coming up soon! You MUST have them to us by Saturday, February 8! That is the final date that we can accept submissions to get them in the first wave of event registration, which is your best chance for getting them accepted and scheduled.

We’re looking for folks to run  Dungeon Crawl Classics , Dungeon Crawl Classics Lankhmar , and  Mutant Crawl Classics events at the show. This year we are especially looking for family-oriented events, low-level games, and events for new players. We want to see tables filled with all kinds of players rolling dice and having fun. If we can bring in new fans to the world of  Dungeon Crawl Classics , so much the better...

It’s our first shows of 2020! 

This weekend the  SCARAB  gaming convention is being held in Columbia, SC, and Goodman Games will be there sharing the  Dungeon Crawl Classics  love! Join Pandabrett at the booth to pick up the latest releases, as well as some con exclusives!

And then, for the first time, we will be going to  PAX South  in San Antonio, TX! Look for Jim Loves Games in the dealer’s hall, representing Goodman Games and sharing some  DCC  love with all the folks down in Texas. It’s a big state, and this is a big show, so naturally, we’re going to leave a big impression with the fans.

A lot of gamers are using Twitch, and we’ve gotten requests for several things to help those gamers out. The number one request has been some high-res art to use for backgrounds for your stream. So, we’re giving you some art.

All of the artwork is landscape format. If there is another format you need, let us know. SILENT TITANS
This is Silent Titans , an adventure, a game, a work of art, a mystery, a book of post-singularity dream-imagery.

It’s an Adventure.  Silent Titans  includes an overland area isolated by mysterious phenomena, a central town, a scattering of settlements and five unique non-Euclidian dungeons. Brave the strange environment, investigate the dungeons, get the treasure and you can escape. If you are familiar with the general conventions of old-school play or light d20 mechanics, you should be able to expand Silent Titans to any of the main OSR systems.

It’s History.  Silent Titans  is set in a world wracked by time spasms and dimensional collapse. In its geography, society, environments, and characters are warped or alternate versions of the Wirral Peninsula in North West England. Driven through this like needles through skin, are terrifying shards of a distant, ruined, high-technology reality whose broken weapons and poisonous ontological waste has been dumped and hidden in its own past. It has both sword fights and robots.

It’s a work of art.  Silent Titans  combines the fervid, intensely vibrant, Escher-like artwork of Dirk Detweiler Leichty and the strange dream-vision prose of Patrick Stuart on every page. Its dungeons are also heraldic glyphs, its monsters and characters sprawl across double-page spreads like the figures of an illuminated gospel from a fallen post-singularity world.
