Service Day Recap

This past Saturday, the JP4 Foundation teamed up with 20 players from the Minnesota MASH to pack Christmas Care Packages for troops in Boston, waiting to be deployed. Packs included: Christmas decorations, handwritten cards, hygiene packs, candy, puzzles, jerky, and more!

After a quick breakfast, the group headed over to Bowlero in Lakeville to volunteer at the Special Olympics State Bowling Tournament. This is MASH's second year participating in a JP4 Foundation service day.

"For boys ages 11-18 to give up a Saturday to do volunteer work is the definition of what we are working to accomplish. We had not only the other volunteers from the Special Olympics thank us, but also the families of the bowlers. Thank you to the JP4 Foundation for this opportunity."  - Steve McGuiggan, MN MASH Owner.

If your baseball organization is interested in a service day of their own, please contact Jeff Huth at [email protected]

What to Expect in 2020

The JP4 Foundation anticipates continued growth in the areas of community impact, name recognition, and sponsorships.

Next year we are looking to expand our summer-camp offerings to the South Minneapolis community. We anticipate providing an additional 45 campers with nutritional meals, healthy activity, positive peer and adult relationships, and a chance to learn about the game of baseball. In addition, we are looking to expand our reach of service learning to the Minnesota High School League, additional club teams, and associations.

We have some exciting news to share regarding sponsorships in 2020 as current sponsors continue to support the mission and new corporate sponsors come on board. More details to come!

This newsletter will serve as our last check-in for 2019. Look for our next newsletter to hit your inbox around the first week in January.
