You Can See the Progress

HTC UWF Mission Project _26 Creative Arts Studio 8.31.26

Founded in 1913, Lydia Patterson Institute (LPI) is a United Methodist-related college preparatory school that educates students from both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border. Our 2026 Mission Project is to transform the current music room at LPI in El Paso into a vibrant, multi-use Creative Arts Studio. This space will provide a place for 7th - 12th grade students can safely explore their God-given gifts through art, music, and dance.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by November 1st so construction can begin.

Gifts from individuals like you and your UWFaith group are so appreciated and will help us reach our goal. Help us reach our goal by November 1st with a gift given in one of these three ways:

Full explanation of our 2026 Mission Project is on our website. Read the "Letters from La Lydia" to learn more about the lives of LPI students. You'll also find a video that explains the project. If you'd like a speaker about Lydia Patterson Institute, contact LPI Board member & Metro East District President, Barbara Dorff.
