Preparing For Sunday

Sunday we celebrate the good news of Jesus' triumph over death with the conviction that what happened to Jesus will also happen to us. Peter preaches the good news: Jesus, judge of the living and the dead, offers forgiveness. Isaiah (ALT) imagines a new heaven and new earth re-created as God desires them to be. Paul reminds us that Christ is now our life, and we have set our hearts on him. In the gospel, the tomb is empty, and the risen Jesus reassures Mary Magdalene of his victory.

Easter Egg Hunt

Immediately after the 10:30 a.m., Easter Service, Grace Church will be hosting an Easter egg hunt for kids 12 and under. All may join us upstairs in the auditorium to enjoy the Easter egg hunt, where goodies and coffee will also be provided.

Easter Invitation Video

We thank the Episcopal Church's Presiding Bishop Michael Curry for his voiceover cameo role in the video.

Water, Water, Everywhere!

We have the exciting opportunity to participate in a matching fund drive with the Episcopal Relief & Development's Clean Water program. Some of the options of helping a country without drinkable water are: to buy a share of a well to be drilled, to install water purification and irrigation systems, or to educate and promote sanitation practices. Your opportunity to give will be during the  3 Sundays, April 3rd, 10th, and 17th. Please donate generously to promote this worthy sustainable development of clean water, a commodity that we so often take for granted.

Of course, any member of the congregation can stop in any Friday for a visit whether they are volunteering or now; you are always welcome.
