Stewardship Sunday Service & Brunch
Stewardship Sunday will be observed November 11. There will be one Eucharist at 9:00 a.m., during which pledges will be received. Following the Eucharist, we will gather in the auditorium for a stewardship brunch.
3 new ways of giving are now available to Grace Church including online giving, mobile giving and text giving. Click on the 2 videos below to learn more.
It may feel different during the Offertory if you choose to Give this way. One suggestion is that you can hold out your phone so the ushers know this is how you choose to give instead of cash or check.
As part of our annual Stewardship campaign, each Sunday in October we will have a Stewardship speaker during both services.
On Sunday, November 11 we will have a combined service at 9:00 am followed by a Stewardship Brunch in the auditorium. The Service will be Holy Eucharist Rite I.

Singers came from Boonville, Trinity Church; Cazenovia, St. Peter's Church; Hamilton, St. Thomas Church; Rome, Zion Church; Sherrill, Gethsemane Church; and Grace Church, Utica. Literature sung included the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by Vernon Williams; and the anthem, "My Soul, Repeat His Praise," with text by Issac Watts and music by Robert Powell. The Magnificat, Nunc Dimittis and the anthem were all published this year. The Preces and Responses were sung from the hymnal. Prayers and congregational hymns were also part of the Evensong.

St. Margaret's Food Pantry at Grace Church
The Food Pantry is currently in need of spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, cereal, and hygiene products. We are in need of supplies for holiday meals for 25 families: Gift certificates for turkeys; stuffing; gravy, and fixings for desserts.
Winter Emergency Kits
Last year, Grace Church collected various food and clothing items which were used for winter emergency kits for the street people in our area. As a new mission undertaking, it was a big success and greatly appreciated by the recipients of them. Before winter is here, we would to make more and need your support again. In the foyer, you will see a gray plastic basket with a list of suggested items to drop off. The food items should be individually wrapped, for example, a box of individual granola bars, peanut butter cracker sandwiches, or breakfast bars, maybe small boxes of raisins; anything that is convenient and nourishing. There is also a need for socks, gloves or hand warmers, and hats. Please put the items in the gray basket and they will be consolidated into kits. Many street people visit the church on weekdays or come to the Sunday services looking for help. Let's make this year's mission undertaking even more successful. The need is greater than ever. Thank you for your support.
