National Karen Youth Conference: The National Karen Youth Day Conference will take place the weekend of 7/9. As Rev. Christine will be attending this event, there will be Morning Prayer with the Rev. Barb Groves.

Wah Dit Paw graduated from high school on June 23rd from Utica Academy of Science Charter School, SANY. She will be attending Mohawk Valley Community College in the fall studying accounting and art. She is the daughter of Sha Htoo & Ma Pu.

Moo Eh Say graduated from high school on June 23rd from Utica Academy of Science Charter School, SANY. She will be attending Mohawk Valley Community College in the fall studying accounting and art. She is the daughter of Chit Htway & Eh Moo.

Siena Cottet graduated from Ballston Spa High School. She Plans on pursuing a career in childcare. She is the granddaughter of Pat Malott and niece of Michael Malott.

Sydney Hight graduated from Oriskany High School. Awards: National Honor Society, Suzanne M. Miazga Memorial Scholarship, NYS Comptroller Achievement Award, Oriskany Central School American Red Cross Blood drive Scholarship. Plans on going into nursing program. She is the granddaughter of Pat Malott and niece of Michael Malott.

Evan Wohl, graduated summa cum laude from Chappaqua, N.Y. High School on June 18, 2023. Evan will attend Rice University in Houston,Texas in August. He is the son of David and Heather Wohl, grandson of Barbara Morris, and great nephew of Tom and Jean Morris.

Henry Holiday Stained Glass Windows Book offer for Grace Church Members

Food Pantry: The Food Pantry is asking for breakfast food donations while the 

kids are out of school. A few examples would be cereal, cereal bars, fruit cups, 

canned fruit , shelf like/powered milk, packaged muffins, pancake mix, syrup, 

peanut butter and jelly, oatmeal juice, pop tarts, etc. Also, the pantry is always in 

need of spaghetti, sauce and canned pasta.

Thrift Store

Thrift Store: The Thrift Store was closed week while contractors began work on the last stage of our year long renovation: the much-needed removal and replacement of the "ancient" carpeting. Thanks to the Herculean efforts of a small but devoted group of seven volunteers from the congregation we were able to remove everything (except for the purple chest of drawers which probably will have to remain forever) from the main area in what seemed like record time. The current carpet will be professionally replaced and will present a clean, fresh, and sanitary appearance for our customers. It's been a long time coming, but we're almost there. Perhaps in the fall we will be able to invite the congregation down to see the results of our efforts.

Concert

Concert: The B Sharp Musical Club presents its Summer Concert on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. The program will be here at Grace Episcopal Church and welcomes many of B Sharp's younger members. A variety of soloists and ensembles will be featured.

Ordination to the Priesthood: Joseph M. Hannah, July 29, 2023, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. God willing and the people consenting, the Rt. Rev. Dr. DeDe Duncan-Probe, Bishop of Central New York, will ordain Joseph M. Hannah to the Sacred Order of Priests. Grace Episcopal Church, 110 Oswego Street, Baldwinsville.
