April 18-24, 2022

As we reflect on this past Holy Week, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who helped to make it happen. Whether you served as trustees who unlocked & heated the building, sanctuary decorators, musicians, tech crew, helpers & table host(ess)s at the Egg Hunt, worship leaders, greeters/ushers, communion assistants, bulletin stuffers, worship attendees, or one of the many other roles filled by the disciples at Grace, we give thanks for your gift of service!

We also extend our gratitude to Jeanette Curry (Wedding Coordinator) and Felicia Meshew (Funeral Coordinator). We know many families will be blessed by their efforts in these new roles at Grace!

KIDS PROGRAM

PreK-5th Grade combined class meets at 9am during the Contemporary Service.

On Communion Sundays, no class meets so families can worship together.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Casserole Recipe

SHARING TABLE 4/23

Grace is feeding the hungry at the Sharing Table in Edgewood THIS SATURDAY, April 23rd. We expect to feed about 250 people and are still in need of some casseroles to make that happen. We are also in need of a few servers to help distribute food to people on Saturday. If you're able to help in any way, please contact Joy Payne.

SNACKS FOR BAKERFIELD

This is the last week to help us support Bakerfield's 200 3rd-5th graders during their state assessments! Snack donations of any sized packages of Goldfish, Starburst, Tootsie Rolls, Dum Dum Lollipops, and cookies of any variety are due to church by Sunday, 4/24.

CWS BLANKET DRIVE

The United Women in Faith are hosting a blanket drive for families in crisis both locally and abroad. Orders are due to the church office by May 3rd.

Combined worship at 10am

followed by a Grace Family Gathering!

We will celebrate the opportunity for all of Grace Church's members, friends, and families to come together and share in fellowship. After having one combined worship service at 10am, everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall for a potluck luncheon. If possible, bring a dish to share!
