Hello Grace Kids Families!

It has been such a blessing seeing how God has worked in the lives of Grace Kids on Sunday mornings, and during each of the camps we have offered this summer. More than 25 children have accepted Christ as Savior. Other children have grown in their faith, engaged more deeply in worship and over 300 children have had a lot of fun! Thank you, parents, for the many ways you have supported children’s ministry all summer!

I am thrilled to announce that Grace Kids has a complete team in place! Please join me in welcoming Joey Chapman as our new Volunteer Coordinator. Joey has recently moved to Austin from Oregon. He and his wife, Kamrie, are expecting their first child in February.

Joey is a former basketball coach and athletic director. He is sensing the Lord’s call into ministry and is looking forward to serving with Grace Kids and using his skill for galvanizing to recruit, grow and train our volunteer base in children’s ministry. I know you will enjoy engaging with him. He loves the Lord and he loves people! Sunday, Aug. 6 will be his first Sunday on the team. Please say “hello” and give him a warm welcome when you see him.

As a reminder, this Sunday, Aug. 6 is the end of Summer Serve. If the Lord is prompting you to serve this school year with Grace Kids, please complete the application on the link below.

Our team is praying for your children as they start a new school year and as they promote to new classes here at church. Please pray with us, asking the Lord to supply two adults in every classroom and requesting that each Grace Kid will come to accept Jesus and become more like Christ in all of life. We are here for you. Please let us know if and how we can pray for you.

If your child received Christ this summer, we will be reaching out to set up a time to talk to them about baptism. If your child has accepted Christ at some point in the past and is ready to be baptized, please reach out to gracekids@grace360.orgOur next children’s baptism will be at our Fall Family Worship Night on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 4:30-6 p.m.

See you this Sunday in your green Grace Kids shirts!
