Endure hardship as discipline;

God is treating you as his children.

- Hebrews 12:7

Divine Discipline

Watch any young baby with another, and sooner or later, they will steal their friend’s toy, pinch, hit, and even bite. Who teaches them this!?!?!! Have you ever thought about it? No parent looks at their precious child and says, “Time to pinch your friend, sweetie.” Silly sounding, I know. We are born sinful and need to be taught through discipline.

Parents have a thousand different responsibilities when raising a child.  (I've done it four times). You need to feed them, change them, teach them, and even discipline them. Parents do this because they love their children.

God disciplines, too.

God disciplines his children to teach them, grow them, and remind them to lean on him in all circumstances. Godly discipline is part of God’s eternal plan, because he loves us, “the Lord disciplines those He loves.” (v.6).

God’s love is displayed in various ways, including discipline. Like a father who loves his children, the Lord disciplines us.

God is all-powerful and can stop any sickness, ailment, stressor, or speed bump in our lives, but in his knowledge and his wisdom, he allows things to unfold in our lives. It’s not always easy, it’s not always quick, but knowing God loves us helps us to rely on Him, and trust in Him while we are going this difficult times.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. - Hebrews 12:11

See you Sunday, we continue our sermon series ENDURE.   I can’t wait!

Pastor Austin

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:19–21

Growing Grace Fellowship

Building Update!

Last week, the CEO of Great West called Pastor Austin and congratulated Grace Fellowship on closing the loan and getting the permits. He mentioned he will be coming up late this week or early next week to meet with the town of Gypsum. He also shared that fencing and a trailer will be arriving in the next week or two, and they are working behind the scenes on logistical setup for the build.

Please continue to pray for our builder, Great West Construction, as they begin working on our new building.

Exciting times ahead!

We encourage you and your family to pray about contributing to our new church building. Please complete the pledge form in the lobby on Sunday and drop it in the pledge box, or Click Here to give online. Thank you to all who have given thus far! We are well on our way to our goal!

To God be the glory!

Go GRACE Go!

Let's kick off our time together again this fall beginning Wednesday, September 3rd!

Invite your friends!

Calling all moms of little ones (ages 0–5 years)!

Join us for a time of encouragement, connection, and community at our local Christian Moms Group. Whether you’re navigating sleepless nights, toddler energy, or the sweet (and sometimes challenging) preschool years, you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Each gathering includes:

✨ Breakfast fellowship time

✨ Encouraging messages and discussion on a variety of topics

✨ Childcare that includes safe, fun playtime for the little ones

✨ Additional opportunities for playdates, Mom's Night Out, service projects and more!

We are also looking for volunteers:

Help by volunteering for childcare for the meetings, as often as you are able to, to give moms the time to focus on their growth together at each meeting.

If you would like to serve as a Mentor Mom (your children are past the 0–5 years stage) to provide encouragement and support to our young moms, we would love to have you, as well!

LORD JESUS, HEAL OUR LAND, OUR BODIES, AND OUR HEARTS.

Please pray for...

  • New school year -

We lift up all our teachers, administrators, staff, and students who are preparing to begin a new school year.

We especially pray for our new college students who are leaving the nest and for the parents who are dropping them off for the first time. The Lord is with you all and walks beside you.

  • Colorado Wildfires -

We lift up to You the land of Colorado and all who are affected by these devastating wildfires. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We ask for Your protection over the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who place themselves in danger to save lives, homes, and communities. Give them strength, wisdom, and safety. We pray for those in our community, and the members of Grace Fellowship, who have been evacuated from their homes today. Provide them a safe place where they can land, but we pray they can return home very soon.

  • Health -

Andy Haffele - who was recently diagnosed with a spinal schwannoma, a usually benign tumor of the nerve in the spine. The information is all new and a treatment plan of action is being placed in the hands of a team in Denver. Please lift up their family for peace and comfort in this current time of the unknowns, for a gifted team of doctors to gather for his case, and for complete healing and recovery from the tumor and the symptoms it is causing.

Brady Kraft - whose diagnosis for his knee injury is a torn patellar tendon. Prayers for pain control and healing as he recovers.

We pray for complete healing and recovery for those struggling

with different health and medical challenges.

  • Continued prayer -

Rosemarie and Andi, Jackie's mom and sister who Jackie helps care for. We pray for strength and comfort for Jackie as one of their caretakers.

Bobby, Tish's dad

John Kirchner - continued prayers for healing and comfort as he continues chemo treatment. Prayers for little to no side effects but big effects on the cancer.

Jerry Wiisanen, Jodie's dad - continued healing for cancer treatment and nerve damage he has experienced

Michelle Colvis, Tex's friend - whose cancer is in remission. Praise God!

Rance Ketterling – Debra's husband, who is recovering from spine surgery at home now. We also lift up Debra, his caretaker, for endurance and an extra measure of peace and rest during this time.

Nancy Kraft - who is now recovering in a rehabilitation facility and slowly improving, but is also still struggling with limited mobility. Prayers for strength, comfort, and restoration during this process.

GOD'S WILL BE DONE
