Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.

His love endures forever.

- Psalm 136:1-

A Prayer of Thanksgiving...

Lord almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We thank You for Your wondrous creation, the mountains, and hills, and fields and animals that live on them. We thank You for the oceans and rivers and creeks and the fish that swim in them.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD. His Love Endures Forever.

Lord, we thank You for our bodies, our souls, and our minds. We thank you Lord that you knew us in our mother’s womb, and you know us today in our struggles, our doubts, and grief, and our joys. In you, Lord we know that we are seen, we are known, and we are loved.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD. His Love Endures Forever.

Lord, we thank you for the faith you have instilled in our hearts and Your Word that sustains us day in and day out. The assurance of our salvation, given to us freely by You, gives us strength in times of weakness, and hope beyond struggles.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD. His Love Endures Forever.

Lord, we thank you for the provision of daily shelter, food, clothing and all that we have. You alone, Lord have blessed us with these gifts, help us to repent of our envious ways, and come to you daily in thanksgiving and praise.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD. His Love Endures Forever.

Lord, we thank you for your perfect life, your sacrificial death, and your glorious resurrection. Help us to live boldly for you, knowing we are fully forgiven, and forever loved. Help us to share your love with others and invite them to your table of grace.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD. His Love Endures Forever.

See you Sunday as we continue Counting Every Blessing. I can’t wait!

Thankful,

Pastor Austin

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

- 1 Peter 5:1-4

Sunday, I was so pleased to share our wonderful team of elders who support me in ministry and care of Grace Fellowship. I appreciate you all for your time, dedication, and service to God’s people. It is an honor to serve with you.
