The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,

to the one who seeks him;

it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

-Lamentations 3:25–26-

Tomorrow, the wait for turkey and pumpkin pie will be over as we celebrate and thank our Lord for the many blessings he has given us. We thank the Lord for…

*The blessing of Salvation

*The blessing of Relationships

*The blessing of Provision

*And the wonderful blessing of Hope.

Hopeful anticipation leads us into our new sermon series,

In this series, we will see how our Lord Jesus, God in the flesh, came to his people to save his people.

We will witness God’s people waiting for the promised Messiah.  We will see how God chose to announce his arrival through mighty angels to lowly shepherds.  As promised, those shepherds would find Jesus in a manger with Mary and Joseph looking in awe.  This advent season, we will celebrate our Lord’s birth, and anticipate his promised return.  That’s actually what advent is all about, waiting in hopeful anticipation. Join me Sunday on the journey; this journey begins with waiting.

See you Sunday- I can’t wait!

Blessed Thanksgiving to you and your families,

Pastor Austin

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
