ADVENT LUNCHEON SERIES
Be Light. Have Life. Share Joy.
Advent is a season of deep wonder as we anticipate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We anticipate God’s love coming to live among us in a gift so radical that it changed the world. And…it continues to change us every day. This Advent season, consider the ways in which the gift of Jesus Christ has brought light, life and joy into your world.
For our 2019 Advent Luncheon Series, you are invited to write a reflection(s) on the wonder of the season. We will then use those reflections to guide our time together each week. Of course, you are not required to write a reflection in order to participate in the Advent Luncheon Series. You may simply come and enjoy communion, lunch, and conversation!
However, if you would like to offer a written reflection, please choose one or more of the topics below. These topics are meant to be broad so that you may think creatively about each. Take time to pray and consider each verse and question. Write from your heart. Your reflection does not need to be long. 1-2 paragraphs are sufficient. We will also share these with the church as a whole through a weekly email so short, impactful reflections are best.
