Worship at Grace Church

Grace Church has resumed in-person worship, with social distancing and other safety measures in place. In-person worship is now offered at the 11 AM service, with celebration of the Eucharist. As is recommended by the Diocese of Long Island, only the host will be distributed. Also, as recommended, there is a limit of fifty persons in the church. Because seating is so limited, we strongly encourage online reservations of seats. Click the Register button below to reserve a seat.
For those wishing to worship at home, the service is available as a livestream, simulcast on Zoom (The 9:15 AM Family Service continues to be offered on Zoom only.) Before worshiping with us in person, be sure to read our COVID-19 In-Person Worship Guidelines.

Thank you for again gathering with us safely!

Reimagine the 2020 Christmas Pageant

Calling all creatives, tech gurus, and Christmas Pageant enthusiasts!
This year has changed the way our lives look in many ways and the Christmas Pageant is no different. Whether you're a youth past participant, a prior adult volunteer, a kid planning to participate this year, or a complete Pageant novice looking for a way to dig into the Grace community, let's take this opportunity to come together as a community and try something new. What will our Christmas Pageant look like this year? We're not sure but we know that it will still be the great event that builds community, where participants learn about and share the Christmas story, and we work together to create something amazing.

If you'd like to be part of a one-time virtual brainstorming session on how we can shape the 2020 Christmas Pageant, please contact Brianna McCarty 785.550.1598. Date/Time tbd based on participant availability.

Giving to Grace
Thank you for your on-going support as we continue to worship remotely. We are happy to let you know that you may now make pledge or general offering donations by text!

Please send a text to 73256 with the message "GraceBrooklyn". The first time, you will be prompted to provide your name and address, including your card number. If you save that information for future use, the second offering by text will be immediate. You may also make one time pledge payments and general offering donations on line here.

If you would like to set up a recurring pledge payment on Realm, please contact Kate Rock for an invitation to join.
In Remembrance or Gratitude...

Altar flowers are a wonderful way to express gratitude for life's blessings or memorialize a loved one.

If you would like to contribute Altar flowers, please contact Marilyn Grant. An acknowledgment will be included in the service bulletin.
Parish Prayer Concerns

In thanksgiving for this country’s diversity of races, ethnicities and cultures, and for God’s blessing on Grace Church’s Multicultural Day celebration; for free and fair elections; for a unified and science-based response to the coronavirus pandemic; and for those for whom prayers have been requested, especially Sean; Natalie; Roger; Bill; Anne, Moe & family; Mercedes; Jean; Sybil; Julian; Mary; Dolores; Theo & family; and all who suffer from COVID 19.
Parish Phones

Significant parts of the neighborhood were affected when the last major storm caused the local utility box to short circuit. Though Verizon promised that service will be restored last Monday, that turned out not to be the case. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding! In the meantime, please contact us by email at parishoffice@gracebrooklyn.org.
Weekday Visits to Grace

To insure your safety and maintain the workplace standards established by the Department of Health, we ask you to let us know ahead of time when you will be stopping by. When you visit please use only the Clergy Door, which is the first door on your right in the Hicks Street courtyard. Sign the Visitors Log at the door (should we need to do any contact tracing), sanitize your hands and, as always, wear a mask.

To minimize traffic, particularly while children are at school, please refrain from moving through the Parish Hall. The restroom at the back of the sanctuary is available for your use. We thank you!
