PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY AT GRACE

The Prayer Shawl Ministry Group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7 p.m. at Grace. Dates for October include the 2nd and 16th. In November, we will meet on the 6th and 20th.

All are welcome – if you crochet or knit, or even want to learn – please join us. If you have questions, you can contact either Sherie Duwe at 262-377-6740, or Lori Mathias at 262-825-6632. If you know of a Grace member that could benefit from a Prayer Shawl, please contact Jean Fugate, Director of Ministries.

WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!

It is Fall and the Grace Quilt Sale is just around the corner. To be specific October 3rd thru October 6th and possibly extended to October 13th. We have had a few problems throughout the year, so we don't have as many as other years. So first come, first serve!

If you don't need one of our very special quilts, we will be accepting cash donations for a specific organization such as: Mr. Bob's Under the Bridge, Salvation Army, Advocates, All Peoples Church to name a few. We will then pick out the quilts and see that they are given to whatever group you choose.

The quilts will sell for $25 each!

We will also have What-Not table with items created by some of our quilters.

Grace Lutheran Church Financial Summary
We as a Church Council have decided in the spirit of continuous improvement and transparency to the congregation to begin publishing a summary of the church's financials on a monthly basis. We feel this is in everyone's best interest to be transparent and aligned upon the financial health of the church.

In these monthly reports, we will include:
  1. Income & Expense Results from the Most Recent Month
  2. Income & Expense Results on a Year-To-Date basis
  3. A Summary of Cash Balances
  4. A Summary of Debt Balances
  5. A Summary of Year-To-Date Giving vs. Prior Periods

We welcome any feedback or suggestions as we continue to find the best ways to engage with the congregation.

Thank you Thrivent Members!
