Day Light Saving Time Starts March 14

It's time to spring forward! Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night.
We will offer in-person worship this week, Sunday, March 14. In order to attend worship with us, we ask that you sign up ahead of time.

Grace continues offering in-person worship opportunities, including two worship services in the Sanctuary, while online worship services continue.

We are glad to share opportunities for Holy Communion in the coming weeks.

For those who attend the in-person worship services, Communion is offered outside on the front porch of the church building as everyone departs.

For those who are not yet attending worship in-person, Grace's pastors are offering dedicated times to visit and provide the sacrament (outdoors only). Click on the following links to schedule some time for a pastor to visit and commune with you!

Click here for the weekly options, offered at 11am on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the coming months.

Click here for the 'flex' time slots, and a pastor will be in contact with you to schedule a time that works for everyone.

2021 Altar Flower Sign-Up

Altar flowers will be back in the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. It has been a long-standing tradition at Grace for members to sponsor the weekly flowers to honor or in memory of family and friends. This year we are asking you to use an on-line sign-up form, please use the link in this article to access. If you are uncomfortable using the on-line sign-up or do not have access, please contact the Church office (803-324-5295 or [email protected]).

The cost is $45.00 for one (1) or $90.00 for both (2) vases. Each date on the sign-up form has two (2) spaces, check the number of vases you wish to sponsor, please check both if you are signing up for both vases, and scroll to the very bottom of the page to submit. You will also be asked to add the dedication of the flowers and to let us know if you will be picking up the flowers after the 11:00 service or another day of the week. If you do pick up the flowers, please return the liner(s) to the Church.
You will receive an email confirming your choice. If you wish to make changes to your chosen date, please contact the Church office.

Want to sponsor Grace's Sanctuary Candle?

Grace continues to keep our Sanctuary Candle burning every week, a sign of the continuing presence of Jesus Christ in our lives. Members are able to sponsor the candle in memory or honor of someone.

To all our Grace family,

Sadly Jack & I have moved to OH to be near our daughter due to our health issues. Our lake house sold quickly during the "pandemic".
Fortunately, our neighbor offered their house next door for us to stay while we tied up loose ends. We will be living with our daughter until our new house is completed. Her address is 3040 Gearhart Rd, Troy, OH 45373. You can reach me on cell phone 803-517-2022 & Jack 517-2444.
It was hard to leave without the opportunity to say goodbye. We miss our church family so much. So we send virtual hugs & wishes to stay safe & healthy. -Bea
PS: I took some bay leaves by the church office before we left. Enjoy!

Please select a name (or a few) from the SignUpGenius and fill an Easter basket, laundry basket, or storage tub with some of the following suggested items: small cans of fruit, peanut butter, jellies, meat & cheese spreads, juices, soups, crackers, etc.  (NO candy please - unless it is sugar-free), small containers of hand or body lotions, shampoo, lip balms, tissues. Please attach a label at the top of the basket with your person's name, gender, and Route Number clearly written. You can drop off your baskets either March 24th between 8:30am - 4:30pm OR March 25th between 8:30am -12:00pm at Reynolds and Reynolds Printing 1330 W Main St. Rock Hill 29732. Thank you in advance for your contributions!  Click here for the SignUpGenius link.
We are excited to be starting back to some in-person activities at WELCM as the spring semester is well underway! And we need your help to provide meals for our Tuesday night Gatherings.
We need 3 more dinners for WELCM! We have openings on 3/16, 4/6, 4/13. Some folks have asked for suggestions that fit the dietary needs to the students - thank you for caring! Olga-Maria is happy to talk with you about menus, but for a start: gluten free starches include rice, potatoes, and quinoa, and gluten free breads, tortillas, and pastas are easy to find in any grocery. We haven't had Mexican food or BBQ yet this semester!

Click here for more information about what is needed. Please reach out to Olga-Maria ([email protected]; 502-644-0176) with any questions. Thanks for feeding our WELCM students!
Caution: WET PAINT

The Fellowship Hall and stairwell are being painted this week. Thank you for your generosity which has allowed us to complete this important project.

Race and Reconciliation Rock Hill
In case you missed last week's Race and Reconciliation program about the highly anticipated International African American Museum in Charleston, South Carolina, click on the video image to watch.

The museum is slated to open in 2022. Under construction on the site where almost half of all African captives arrived in the United States.
The museum will share the untold stories of the African American journey to Gadsden’s Wharf on the Charleston waterfront where some 100,000 Africans were sold and took their first steps in America. Leading the conversation is Brenda Tindal, the museum’s Director of Education and Engagement and Rev. DeMett Jenkins, Lilly Director of Education and Engagement for Faith-Based Communities. More information on the museum is available on its website at https://iaamuseum.org/ and more videos about the museum can be found on their YouTube page (click here).

Taking Faith Home carries the previous Sunday's themes throughout the week.

These devotions include daily Scripture readings, prayers, hymn suggestions, milestones, conversation starters, service opportunities, and at-home rituals.
