GRACE NOTES
April 20 - 27, 2021
Thank you for providing Easter Baskets of Blessings!

Many Grace members helped brighten Easter for 50 members of Meals on Wheels. Thank you for taking time to care for our neighbors! We are especially grateful to Vivian Robinson for organizing this project. We received this thank-you note from one of the recipients:

"I want to thank everyone who contributed to this wonderful assortment of gifts and in a dish pan that fits beautifully in my sink. I was like a kid at Christmas going through all the items. I can use everything... Thank you again and many blessings to all of you."
2021 Outreach Partnerships

Our 2021 Outreach Partnerships are under way! The Outreach Liaisons have delivered grants to our three Partners - Community Café, HOPE of Rock Hill, and Pilgrims' Inn. These organizations were so glad to be chosen as partners, and we are all looking forward to the work to come this year!

If you've driven by recently, you may have noticed that HOPE is working hard moving into the activity center next to Grace! They plan to be up and running in this location in May, and once they are ready, Grace will be invited to an open house to see the space and learn more about how HOPE helps keep our neighbors well-fed and how we can take part.
Linda Ranges delivers a $5,000 grant to Don Murfin, founder and President of Community Cafe.
Ron Hartman delivers a $10,000 grant to Gordon Bell, Director of Operations at HOPE.
We will offer in-person worship this week, Sunday, April 25. In order to attend worship with us, we ask that you sign up ahead of time.

Sundays with Grace

Our Sunday morning worship and fellowship opportunities are going strong!

Facebook Premiere worship begins at 11am

Facebook Live Coffee Hour starts at noon
WORSHIP ASSISTANT VIDEOS CONTINUE

Worship assistant videos are still needed!

For the past year, we've been asking for videos from home, but now we are also welcoming videos recorded at Grace during the week.

If you have been waiting because you are not quite sure about the recording process yourself, why not sign up, and simply schedule a time to come lead from the pulpit? We will make it easy!

And if you prefer to help us out by sending a video from right where you are, we are just as grateful for those, too.

Please click here to view the sign up for the next several weeks. Pr. Gregg will contact you with the details you'll need.

Thanks to all who have helped lead us in worship so far and all those who will be leading us in the weeks to come!
April Remarks from Our Pastors
In their reports to Council each month, Pastor Gregg and Pastor Rachel conclude with some personal remarks that summarize the most recent period of their leadership here at Grace. Click on the image to read their April Remarks.
Stewardship will be launching Time & Talent 2021 tomorrow!
Watch for a special email with all the info you need on how connect your gifts and passions with ministries at Grace and in our community!
Wanted: Finance Chairperson
Grace is blessed with several strong financial officers and a dedicated committee, too. All we need now is someone to be the chair. The Finance Committee chairperson calls regular meetings and passes the committee's recommendations on to Council. No financial expertise is even required (just a willing spirit). If you think you might be the right person for the job, please contact the Church Office today!
Race & Reconciliation Rock Hill
Thursday, April 22 at 7pm
Race and Reconciliation Rock Hill will host a discussion about exciting plans to revitalize the Southside of Rock Hill called "The Clinton ConNEXTion." The leadership from the Clinton ConNEXTion and the Black Economic Leadership League (B.E.L.L.) will update us on the events that have already taken place and next steps, and offer information on how you can get involved.

The Clinton ConNEXTion is a strategy to revitalize the Southside of Rock Hill, specifically the Saluda Street/Crawford Road corridors. The strategy includes housing development, health and wellness, events and opportunities, sense of place, inclusivity, jobs and business growth, and talent development. For an overview of the Clinton ConNEXTion click here.

B.E.L.L. is comprised of Black business owners and engaged community members within the City of Rock Hill. Their mission is to be a resource and advocate for the Black community and the City of Rock Hill. To learn more about B.E.L.L. click here

A Zoom link will be provided on the morning of April 22nd. If you would like to be added to Race & Reconciliation's email list click here.

Men's Bible Study

Join us for conversation about one of the more fascinating books of Scripture: Revelation.

Using an overview written by Max Lucado, we will be talking about some of the themes present in Revelation and how they impact our lives. The group meets Sundays at 9:30 for about an hour. Contact Pr. Gregg to be added to our group.
Offering Our Gifts to God

  • Set up giving though your bank
  • Mail your offering to the church office.
Thank you for continued faithful
