GRACE NOTES
October 6 - 13, 2020
Grace's Council decided to identify a new date for returning to in-person worship. Grace will resume offering in-person worship opportunities on October 18, similar to the way we did several months ago.

Click here to read last week's brief update from Pr. Gregg regarding this decision and a glance at the coming weeks.

Click here to see several brief summary points.

We appreciate your patience as we revise and update our plan for a return to in-person worship, and your prayerful participation as we continue together in the ministry we share!

We will be posting a signup for Oct. 18 in-person worship services in next week's E-news. Be on the lookout for that opportunity, as well as new instructions regarding protocols that will keep all of us safe!
While we are physically apart in the coming weeks, there are still many ways for us to be church together. We invite you to connect with one another by phone and make use of the resources in this publication, too!
Sundays with Grace

Our Sunday morning worship and fellowship opportunities are going strong!

We have been enjoying worshiping together via Facebook Premiere at 10am (and we know many others are also worshiping with us on Facebook and YouTube throughout the day). Our Facebook Live Coffee Hours at 11am continue to provide thought-provoking conversation as well as fun insights and connections with one another. Many friends, family members, and visitors also join us, and we are so glad to have these opportunities to be together while apart!

We look forward to being with you online again this Sunday!

WORSHIP ASSISTANT VIDEOS CONTINUE

We have been blessed to see one another in worship through our online worship assistants!

If you are interested in providing a worship assistant video, please click here to sign up for this Sunday, October 11, and Pr. Gregg will contact you with the details you'll need.

Thanks to all who have helped lead us in worship so far and all those who will be leading us in the weeks to come!
What's Happening with Hospitality?
Our Equipping Ourselves for Hospitality Goal for 2020 is well underway! A lot will be happening in the next few months, and we want to share the excitement with you! We'll use this block to post updates on the projects, as well as ways you can take part, so keep an eye out each week.

+We have ordered a lovely conference table which will arrive this week! We'll be ordering chairs soon.

+Paint is also being delivered this week! Now we can begin the process of brightening up our Sunday School and Conference rooms.

+We've gotten quotes for new flooring in the men's Bible study room and the conference room and will be scheduling those installations shortly.

+We're gathering final quotes for window treatments this week; they will brighten our space, look great from the outside, and provide more safety for evening meetings.

This is just the beginning of what we're working on; even more excitement is coming!

If you haven't yet volunteered, and would like to be part of these great projects, click here to let the Planning Team know. Thanks to those who have already signed up to help with various projects throughout our building!

Your continued generosity this year has paved the way for us to jump into these projects, knowing we have the financial and faith-filled support we need to make our Hospitality goal a reality! Thank you!

Men's Bible Study

Join us for a Men's Book Study on Sunday mornings at 9am via Zoom - currently, we are studying "Man Alive" by Patrick Morley. Each week we are led by a different member of our group of 'Men-in-Training' and the conversation has been meaningful. Those interested in participating should contact Pr. Gregg to get added to the Realm group where the meeting link is posted. There's always room for one more!
Greetings Sent from Bishop Ginny Aebischer

A few weeks ago, Prs. Gregg and Rachel and Council President John Grogan were invited into conversation with Bishop Aebischer and Assistant to the Bishop Rick Carter. (The Bishop has made a goal to connect with the leadership of every congregation in the SC Synod by the end of the year - that's 154 congregations!)

As part of this conversation, Bishop Aebischer asked us to share her greetings with Grace - with each of you. She is praying for us and is excited to be in partnership with us in a new way.

We invite your prayers for Bishop Aebischer, as well as for Assistant to the Bishop Carter, as they take on these new calls in service to the SC Synod and to the mission we all share.

Offering Our Gifts to God - Monetary Offering

  • Give online by clicking here (and you have the option to offset the cost of giving online)
  • Set up giving though your bank
  • Mail your offering to the church office.

Thank you for continued faithful giving!
