-From 6-8 pm each night (except Tuesday) one or two volunteers are needed as evening hosts to eat dinner with the families and stay to visit, play games, walk around the block, watch TV, etc.

WELCM Friends

Would you like to become friends with a Winthrop student? Here’s your chance!
WELCM has begun a program matching Grace members and families with our campus ministry students. We ran a similar program many years ago and restarted it last spring on a pilot basis.

Annie-Laurie and I participated in that trial run and loved the experience. We enjoyed our student’s youthful enthusiasm and company (not to mention that she was a willing cat-sitter!) and she was happy to have a Rock Hill family to do things with.

Want to join the fun? To learn more about the program, click HERE.

If you are interested, please contact either me, Bob Stonebraker, WELCM Committee Chair (stonebraker946@gmail.com or 803-980-1834) or Olga-Maria, Campus Minister (omcruz@welcm.org or 502-644-0176).
WELCM Gatherings are starting up again and we would love your help to give our college students a home-cooked meal each Thursday night at the White House! The sign up sheet and ideas for menu options are posted in the Fellowship Hall! Reach out to Olga-Maria at 502-644-0176, or omcruz@welcm.org with any questions!
There will be a service celebrating the life of Jack Lockwood at Grace on Saturday, November 5 at 11am. Members and friends of Grace are invited to attend the worship service.
