October 4 - Sunday School at 10a, 3rd Grade (Young Youth) 3:00-3:30pm, 4th-7th Grade (Youth) 3:30-4:30pm, 8th-12th Grade (GYM) 4:30-6:00pm

October 11 - Family Promise week begins, Sunday School at 10a, MSP Forum 1 at 10a

October 17 - Confirmation Class at 9a

October 18 - Sunday School at 10a, MSP Forum 2 at 12p, Young Youth at 3:30p, Youth Gathering Meeting at 6p

Sunday, October 4th is a big day for Youth! All 3 of our youth groups will meet. Come spend some time with your friends in the Youth Room!

WELCM News

WELCM continues to grow and thrive. Only three students from last year have returned, but we’ve been graced (pun?) by a strong group of new ones. Already we’ve had eight new students attend one or more of our gatherings, and we’re expecting another two new face this week.

The best part has been the enthusiasm and the sense of community that I’ve seen emerge in these opening weeks of the semester. In my teaching days I’d routinely see students checking the time, wishing they could make those clock hands move more quickly. Not so at WELCM. At WELCM the students typically stay and keep talking even after the “official” program ends and I’m gone. What more could a leader want?

What better way is there to spend a Saturday morning than with these fine people making our own Chrismons. Many thanks to Nora Sliney, Linda Horst, Libby Wallace, Brenda Mills, Irene Pointon and the Parish Life Committee for their excellent organization and teaching. Such fun!

If you like to create your own Christmas decorations while having Fellowship, the Parish Life Committee will be having a Make Your Own Advent Wreath Workshop on November 22nd from 2 to 4. Location TBA. Love to have you join us.
