THANK YOU!!! To all who volunteered, worshiped, played, and gathered for the Grand Opening Celebration on Sunday, September 8th. Thank you seems like such small words compared to the huge feelings of gratitude and blessings all felt!

My cup is overflowing with gratitude for such a wonderful celebration on Sunday. I hope you will take a moment and look at some pictures. Watch the video of our transformation. I am so grateful for our Vision Board Members, Faith Practices and Neighboring Practices group, and other leaders who made our grand opening such a success. Thank you for coming and thank you for inviting others.

On Wednesday evening we kicked off our new program year. Our bible study was filled with new people eager to study the bible. I am so excited to learn together. Our new gathering space was filled with people too. Own your faith mentors meeting with mentees, other people hanging out and doing homework. What a gift it is to have this spacious building to connect, and to live our lives of faith. Thanks be to God for all of this and so much more!

Meal Kits for Hope4Youth Donations

As a part of God's Work Our Hand's Sunday, there will be meal kits put together for Hope4Youth. The volunteers on this project need your help! Please see the list below for items that are needed. Please drop the items off in the bin on the table that is located next to the Food Shelf. Items will be collected from 9/12 to 9/27. Thank you for your help.

Family Promise

After 14 years of great service, Alden Riley is stepping down as the coordinator of Family Promise. Gayle Pacholl and Dave Jenkins will try and continue his legacy. We are approaching a busy time for Grace at Family Promise. There are 3 events happening in the next month that you are invited to be involved with.

1. We have our hosting week September 22-29. We will be providing hygiene products and gas cards to 5 families. If you care to donate, please follow the link to the signup genius that will allow you to pick the item you would like to donate. You can drop the items off at the church office or give items to Dave Jenkins. Please drop off the items by September 22, 2024.

2. Donate a meal to a family. You can provide the actual meal or donate money toward the ingredients of a meal. If interested, please contact Gayle at pacholls@comcast.net or 612.750.2910 for details

Mission trip to Belize 2025

Join us on a mission trip to Belize Jan. 28-Feb. 4, 2025. It is a rewarding experience walking beside and helping the people of Belize. In the evenings enjoy quality accommodations located on the beach, quality food, and relaxation with your fellow members of Grace (and friends and family). You are invited to an informational meeting at the church on Oct. 1st at 6:00pm. If you have questions, please contact Greg Ackerson at (763) 355-7336 or grega@apex-co.us
