Gracehaven’s deep-seated, heartfelt conviction is that
no child should be bought or sold!
That’s why we’re excited to expand our impact to Toledo and Cleveland.
Thanks to a partnership with Ohio Jobs and Family Services,
Gracehaven will provide community case management for youth who have survived child sex trafficking, are actively being exploited, and/or are at risk of victimization. Two case managers in each city will serve clients to ensure they receive quality, trauma-informed care.
Our Community Case Managers are victim advocates who embrace, equip, and empower survivors to become thriving leaders.
A key part of this process is helping victims gain the knowledge and skills necessary to stand firm in the face of vulnerability. These skills include problem solving, identifying grooming techniques, developing independent living skills, learning to trust and developing a positive self-image.
Authorities and service providers in both cities are very excited to partner with Gracehaven and have welcomed us into various collaborations and efforts.
Amy LaGesse of the Lucas County Human Trafficking Coalition says, "I am excited that Gracehaven will have a home at Lutheran Social Services and is willing to collaborate with the Coalition and PATH and the FOCUS on Runaways Project!"
Thanks to the generosity of key partners, we have office space in these locations:
