2024 Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award Recipients


Congratulations to Delasi Essien, awarded "Nursing Champion" through Canada's Top 25 Immigrants for the 2024 year.


As a doctoral student at the University of Regina, Essien further found her niche in academia, expanding the dialogue around equity, diversity and inclusion, through Indigenization and decolonization within the nursing profession.

Pro Tip: Follow instructions to the letter in your scholarship application. For example, if you are asked for your SINGLE MOST significant contribution just focus on one and how it relates to your current graduate work. Don’t give a list you will be disqualified for failing to follow instructions!
