Gradual Reopening and Vaccination
On June 30, 2021 Brampton safely moved to Step Two of the provincial Roadmap to Reopen. This means, outdoor social gatherings and organized public events are allowed for up to 25 people, hair salons and other personal services are open, and non-essential retail capacity is at 25 per cent. Just Add Fun This Summer
Join us for in-person summer camp programs taking place at nine Brampton Recreation Centres. Weekly camps are available from July 5 to September 3 for participants ages 4 – 13. Activities include art, crafts, sports and more! Weekly inclusion camps are available for individuals of all abilities from July 5 to August 27 for participants ages 6 – 13, 14 – 20 and 21+. The City of Brampton continues to recognize and celebrate more than 175 residents in the community who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in 2019 and 2020. Established in 1974, the Brampton Citizen Awards has recognized more than 3,500 outstanding residents nominated by fellow citizens in seven categories. The City has partnered with the TRCA to refresh Jefferson, Jordan, and Jayfield Parks and create the City’s first Eco Space project alongside scheduled concrete channel removal and re-naturalization work.
