Graduate Assistant Pay Schedule
Fully on-boarded graduate assistants with fall and academic year contracts starting the week of August 24 will receive their first paycheck September 12, 2025 (refer to pay schedule).

Fall 2025 Funding for Professional Development
The Graduate Student Senate sponsors the GSS Funding for Professional Development designed to assist graduate students with the expenses associated with attending conferences, seminars, tours, research trips, career fairs, and similar professional development experiences. FPD may also be used to fund accredited professional memberships.

Teaching with Primary Sources Learning Community
Throughout the semester University Libraries will be hosting six sessions discussing primary sources and best practices for using them in the classroom. Participants will work toward the development of a lesson plan or assignment for use in future teaching.
Sessions will be held in the Jerome Library Collab Lab, 10:30 a.m. to Noon on these dates: Sept 17; Oct 1, 15, and 29; Nov 5 and 19.

The Falcon Food Pantry is here to support BGSU students, faculty, and staff with nutritious and accessible food. Diapers and hygiene items are also available. Wellness Ambassador Training
Wellness Ambassadors help promote campus safety and well-being by
presenting on key wellness topics such as mindfulness, self-care, stress,
nutrition, alcohol and drug use, and sexual health. They encourage
students to be active bystanders and navigate college life more effectively.
Their responsibilities include creating and delivering presentations,
developing scripts, and participating in national and regional peer
education conferences.

The BGSU Counseling Center is here to help you connect to mental health resources on and around campus if or when you need them.

To set an appointment or speak with an on-call counselor for crisis situations, call 419-372-2081 between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. You can also utilize the Wood County Crisis Line at 419-502-4673, which is open 24/7 to those in Wood County.
