Dear ones,
We celebrate the gift of your upcoming graduation! It is always a gift to recognize this life passage and accomplishment during a worship celebration.
This year our Graduation Recognition will be on Sunday, June 2nd at 10 am. Erin Videgar, our Student Ministry Director, will invite you to come forward to receive a symbolic gift from your church family and share a Prayer of Blessing together.
This year, Dave and I are hosting a graduation Passage Blessing at our home in beautiful Mt. Weather just outside of Bluemont on Saturday, May 18th from 2:30-7:00 pm. Erin will help to lead this meaningful gathering.
The graduates and family members will enjoy a meal together, provided by Crossroads, and enjoy a time to remember the special gifts and character qualities in the graduate. There will be other outdoor experiences to complement this time together.
We will have a campfire with s'mores and end with sharing a God’s blessing in the splendor of nature around the fire circle.
