New CE Requirement on Prescription Opioids

We know that there have been a lot of questions about the new 1-hour prescription opioid CE requirement for social workers. Though it is not yet posted on the Board of Social Work Examiners site, it is part of a state law (that's why you won't see it in the Regulations themselves) that was adopted by the BSWE. This will be required for you to complete each licensing cycle, so you have time!

The law can be found here, See the section titled C.45:15BB-11.1 Continuing education for social workers.

Heather Carew, LCSW, BCBA and Registered Yoga Teacher provided a fun and interactive yoga workshop for our Essex Unit. Heather provided unit members relaxation and breathing techniques for personal and professional use. Thanks Heather!
