Dear Senior Families,
Thank you for your patience as we finalized logistics for Graduation. We are so excited to celebrate the Class of 2025 and all of their accomplishments. In this email, I outline everything you need to know about this important milestone in your child's education.
Graduation will be on:
Thursday, June 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
with a Reception to follow from 6:00 to 7:00 pm
at Congregation Beth Am
26790 Arastradero Rd., Los Altos Hills, CA 94022
Graduation rehearsal will be on Wednesday, June 4 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at Beth Am. At rehearsal, students will line up in order and practice processing and recessing through the space.
Apart from the date, time, and location of Graduation and Graduation Rehearsal, here are other logistics of which you should be aware:
- Tickets are NOT required. Generally speaking, we ask that you bring no more than 10 people from your party to Graduation, but Beth Am should have enough seating to accommodate everyone.
- Caps and Gowns will be purchased by the school. Ms. Elaine Wilhelm will follow-up with students to get their sizes.
- Spelling of your child's English and Hebrew names. Ms. Wilhelm will send a Google form to you. Please fill it out as soon as possible.
- Diplomas. As has been mentioned to seniors, they can choose whether or not they want a diploma from Kehillah Jewish High School OR The Kehillah School. We will make diplomas with both school names so students can simply pick which diploma they want at Graduation.
- Parking. Beth Am will be available but there will also be overflow parking at Stanford Medicine across the street.
- When you arrive at the main sanctuary, ushers will be there to greet you, but the doors will not open until 3:45 pm at the earliest.
- Baby Pictures. Mr. Richard Brownstone will reach out to you later this spring asking for a baby picture of your child. This will be helpful in creating the senior slideshow for Graduation.
