Scholarship Winners

Students submitted essays on 
"What it means to be a Tiger". 
The winners will each receive a $500 scholarship.  The submissions were all excellent  and  a true reflection  of our amazing school.  Here are some excerpts  from our  winners.

 To be a Tiger is to be diverse, open minded and adventurous.

To be a Tiger is that you are part  of a community that appreciates you for more than a touchdown or a  point scored but because of who you are as a person and that as a Tiger  we look out for our own.

Audrey Jane DiMarco 
Being a Tiger means being filled with gratitude for the support network provided by the inspiring staff  and community of parents, "being a Tiger" means appreciating the diverse and enriching ecosystem that allows everyone to thrive as they journey into the real world. 

Anna Huelskoetter
To me, being a Tiger means welcoming anyone and everyone so that they  feel comfortable and are able to  flourish at WWS.  

Isabelle Fawcett
Being a Tiger is being a leader, a supporter, and a fan not only in our high school, but in our community.

nutritional needs.
