Dear Friend of KIPP Baltimore,
This commencement season, please join me in celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of our graduating middle school, high school, and college seniors!
From the moment a student enrolls at KIPP, he or she becomes a part of a college-going culture and a community that shares an unwavering commitment to educate, prepare, and inspire young Baltimoreans to pursue academic excellence and choice-filled lives.
In this email, I'm excited for you to meet three of our distinguished KIPP alumni, Serenity Moseley-Few, Savoy Adams, and Gregory Hudson. Learn how they plan to make a difference in the world on their journeys to and through college and career. Thank you for all that you do to make our KIPPsters' dreams a reality!
With gratitude,
Marsha Reeves
Executive Director
KIPP Baltimore
Serenity Moseley-Few, Pride of 2023 and eighth grade class Valedictorian, inspired her fellow classmates to pursue their education and follow their dreams. She thanked teachers for instilling in her that an education is the most powerful asset anyone can possess. Serenity plans to attend Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in the fall. She has dreams of attending the University of Maryland and becoming a psychologist.
Savoy Adams, Pride of 2019, recently graduated from Pikesville High School. He was accepted into Howard University, Muhlenberg College, McDaniel College, Gettysburg College, Dickinson College, Morehouse College, and Loyola University Maryland. Savoy plans to attend Loyola University Maryland in the fall and major in Biology.
Gregory Hudson, Pride of 2015, graduated from Lycoming College's Class of 2019 with a degree in Sociology. Last summer, Gregory lent his talents to our Team and Family by serving as a coach during our Countdown to College Program. Gregory is particularly interested in social justice work, and he is hoping to pursue a career working for a non-profit organization.
