On Saturday August 15th, 2020, the AMAAD Institute (Arming Minorities Against Addiction & Disease) in partnership with Watts Up Community Development Corporation, hosted the Grand Opening of our newest housing development, the Assemblymember Mike Gipson House through Project imPACT, made possible by a grant from the State of California BSCC Proposition 47 Grant Project.

Project imPACT provides comprehensive services to justice-involved individuals throughout Los Angeles County with the focus to improve employment outcomes through ongoing provision of peer support, legal services, behavioral health services, and now housing support.
AMAAD would like to thank all of our partners, participants, and friends as we continue to serve our community!
