Grand Prairie Housing and Neighborhood Services Department is pleased to announce that the 2019 Homeownership Fair is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the Ruthe Jackson Center, 3113 S. Carrier Parkway in Grand Prairie. I would like to solicit your participation in partnering with us in this endeavor.
Homeownership enables households to invest in their future, as well as to feel a sense of community and stability in their neighborhood. It promotes a healthy living environment and builds strong communities. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments by providing and increasing homeownership and affordable housing opportunities. This event will provide prospective homebuyers with valuable information about the benefits of homeownership. Homebuyers will receive answers to questions about mortgage lending and will have an opportunity to speak with lenders, realtors, counseling agencies and other key players in the home buying process. Also, the event will offer current homeowners information on how to prevent mortgage delinquencies and foreclosure prevention.
The Homeownership Fair will provide a valuable service to our community and your participation as a sponsor will help us tremendously in our efforts. We anticipate attendance of approximately 300-500 attendees.
