Community Story: Safe Storage is Key in Poison Prevention

Mosella is a loving grandma and has been the legal guardian of her five-year old grandson, Ethan, since he was 10-months old. While doing chores, Mosella sometimes pauses to take her daily medication. On one particular day, Ethan grabbed her medicine bottle from the kitchen counter and downed the pills.

That’s when Mosella thought to call the Poison Help hotline. Learn how a Certified Specialist in Poison Information helped this family.
Full Tummies, Warm Hearts: Sponsor a Family's Thanksgiving Meal

Our Thanksgiving food drive is underway. Each year, the community comes together to provide tubs filled with Thanksgiving staples to make sure no family goes hungry during the holiday season.

You are welcome to join us! Last year, workplaces, civic groups, churches, schools, families, and individuals collectively provided 3,674 people with a "full tummy" and "warm heart."
Now is the Time: Join An Event Committee

We invite community volunteers with a heart for volunteerism and collaboration to join the Taste of Williamson and/or United Way 5K/8K event committees. With just a few hours each month during planning season, you will help strengthen these events, increase visibility, and engage the community-- all in support of United Way funded programs.

Taste of Williamson returns on March 8! Contact Lauren Curry to join the fabulous taste team.

Grab your sneakers for the next United Way 5K/8K on May 30. Contact Joy Lehmann to join the dynamic race committee.
