Grantee Spotlight: Abilities First

Warren County Foundation provides Impact Grants annually to enhance the quality of life in Warren County.

Abilities First received an Impact Grant to offer an adaptive summer camp for up to 120 children (ages 3-10) with Autism and other abilities. The camp features fun and developmentally appropriate activities.

"The Warren County Foundation's generous grant to the Abilities First Summer Camp has helped make it possible to expand our summer program in 2025 from 42 spots to 150 spots! Thanks to this support, we have been able to prepare three kid-themed, month-long day camps designed with young children with autism and other differing abilities in mind. Not only does this allow us to provide more fun, engaging activities and lessons for the children in our Autism Learning Center, but the Summer Camp also provides critical resources and respite for parents and caregivers while also offering essential continuity of services for the kids."

- Rachel Sheets, Director of Development & Communication, Abilities First
