WCF and Beech Acres impact Warren County

WCF Impact Grant Recipient: Beech Acres

Warren County Foundation provides Impact Grants annually to enhance the quality of life in Warren County.

Beech Acres offers a pilot parenting program at George H. Gerke and William C. Shenk Elementary, providing accessible tools for parents of preschool to first-grade children. This initiative gives the PCx mobile app to 100 families, a three-session parent workshop series, six personalized coaching sessions per family, and a connection to the Warren County Imagination Library.

"Many students require additional help to be prepared to effectively learn; from mental health support to vital resources at home, that go beyond the classroom. Thanks to the Warren County Foundation, Beech Acres Parenting Center’s ‘Beyond the Classroom’ provides complete wrap-around support for students and their families, and removes barriers that impact a child’s learning and empowers students to thrive."
