The Build Dakota Scholarship Fund gives students a full-ride scholarship to attend one of South Dakota’s technical colleges. In exchange, the student makes a 3-year commitment to work in their chosen field in South Dakota. Industry partners have been able to use this program as an effective workforce recruitment and retention tool for their business. As an economic developer, introducing this program to your business community is another way to help the local economy grow. 

Business Retention & Expansion is a core element of economic development. It is designed to understand a business' needs and evaluate opportunities to assist.
